Tanya Burr Lip Glosses Review and Swatches! | Picnic in the Park, Aurora, Afternoon Tea, and more!

Hi, everyone! Today, I am going to do a review of Ms.Tanya Burr's lip glosses line. Just in case you don't recognize her, she is a YouTuber who makes beauty videos such as makeup tutorials, hauls and reviews. She also has an amazing blog. Her makeup tutorials and reviews are great and really get to the point. I've been watching her videos for more than two years now and I love her so much. I also trust her products' reviews because she worked at a makeup counter before and she knows so well about beauty related things.

On January 31st, she promoted her own lip gloss and nail polish collection by Eye Candy. The shipping is international (thank god!) and so I was able to reach some of her products from feelunique. Unfortunately, due to the shipping restriction, I could NOT order her nail polish line which made me very sad but at least I got some lip glosses so that's okay! haha

Anyway, I'm going to show you these beautiful lip glosses as well as the swatches and my thoughts for the products.

They come in 12 shades and I got 8 colors. Yes, I know that's a lot of lip glosses for one girl. But just to clarify here, I started my blog and I want to be as professional as possible in terms of reviewing the products. I know that many people are interested in purchasing these lip glosses but there aren't many true-to-the-color type of swatches on the internet yet, in my opinion (no offense or anything!), so I really wanted to share my experience about these lip glosses whether I like them or not. And also, Tanya has been one of my favorite beauty persons and she inspired me so much that I wanted to show her respect and support :)

Enough with me talking, here is my review and I hope you like it!

These lip glosses smells SO freaking amazing. It's a very fruity sweet yummy scent. I'd say that this is my favorite lipgloss scent. To me, it just smells like the MAC tendertones if you have smelt one before.
I was surprised because Afternoon Tea somehow smells different from others. It smells a bit more chemical to me. Is it only me who smell the difference??! Who knows. Let me know if you think so, too!
They are not too sticky but creamy enough to stay on my lips for a pretty long time. They are so moisturizing, too. I looked up the ingredients and they contain beeswax, seed oil, shea, nut butter, aroma, etc. They all sound amazing right? In fact, they moisturize my lips very nicely so I can even wear them without lip balm, which is like miracle to me because I have super dry lips and super sensitive lips.

From left-right: Champagne Toast, Smile Dream Sparkle, Aurora, Vampire Kiss, Exotic Island, Picnic in the Park, Chic, Afternoon Tea.

I think the heart on the top is so cute <3

These three are shimmery, and the other five don't have any shimmer to them.

I think the applicator is pretty nice and unique. Sometimes I find it difficult to get the product out because of this unique applicator but I can just apply it several times so it's not a bid deal. It fits on my lips so perfectly and so smooth and it's so easy to apply.

Here are the swatches. From left-right: Champagne Toast, Smile Dream Sparkle, Aurora, Vampire Kiss, Exotic Island, Picnic in the Park, Chic, Afternoon Tea.
I also wanted to say that the photos/swatches are very true to the actual colors and I'm so happy how they turned out!

I have three switches (maybe too much for some of you :P) with different lighting so that it might be easy for you to see how they look :)

As you can see from my swatches, most of her lip glosses are so pigmented and you don't really need a lipstick underneath to wear it. However, Smile Dream Sparkle is so so sheer which I was so surprised, because on the feelunique website, it looked much more darker and more purple. So I was expecting it to be a bit more pigmented but it wasn't. But it turned out that I like to use this on a day when I don't wear a lot of makeup and still need some natural sparkles and a hint of subtle pink on my lips. The sparkles are so beautiful.

Other ones are so well pigmented except Champagne Toast which is a nude shimmery color. ALSO, I kind of regret that I got both Chic and Afternoon Tea, because they look almost exactly the same on MY lips. If you are thinking of getting these two, just pick one unless you want the very similar color. If you have pale skin, I recommend Afternoon Tea over Chic. If you have yellow/olive undertone like I do, I recommend Chic because it blends nicely with your skin tone. Afternoon Tea is a bit too blue for my skin tone.

My favorites so far are Picnic in the Park, Champagne Toast, and Chic. But I love all of them and I use them like almost every single day since I got them!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Tanya even though she's probably not gonna see this blog at all. I love your products and I really enjoy using them :)

If you're interested in these amazing lip glosses, you can get them from feelunique and professional online makeup internationally. I hope you found this review and swatches somewhat helpful :)!

And thank you so much for visiting my blog :) Please let me know which one is YOUR favorite if you have one, and if you don't, let me know which one you'd like to try from her collection!
